The project investigates how derelict 20th century car-centric scars in the urban grain of Margate’s Old Town can become home to ‘timeless’ medium-density traditional housing developments fostering deeper connections between inhabitants and nature, re-imagining urban environments as interconnected, socially beneficial settings for civic life.

Located at the Millwall Docks it replaces an existing Sail School on the site from c. 1980s, and adds a facility for the production and testing of sail cloth to advance the capability of sailing cargo ships of the future - helping to reduce carbon emissions from global shipping in a bid to tackle climate change.

An adaptive re-use project turning a disused 1950’s car showroom on the Chatham Highstreet into a new ‘Town Hall’ for the citizens. A contribution to an urban regeneration live project by Medway Council to tackle antisocial behaviour and provide opportunities for local residents. The building features an exhibition/gathering hall, a reference library, counselling rooms, a multi-purpose space with movable partitions, a roof allotment garden, and a publicly-owned cafe.

A redevelopment of a car park within the ancient city walls of Canterbury into a peaceful new neighbourhood, consisting of apartments of varying sizes, 2 bedroom, and 4 bedroom terraced houses. The space at the core is devoted to a community fitness centre, parklet, and playground with chalk-friendly pavement! The apartments have a roof terrace compensate for the terraces’ gardens.
